Maintain communications with world-wide organizations on current and emerging issues.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
We act as an advocate on behalf of our membership with all of the industry-related groups, maintaining daily contact with representatives of the export trade to make sure they are fully and accurately informed as to the industry's activities, needs and problems. Our goal is to ensure regulation favorable to the industry:

Governmental regulatory agencies
Transportation services
Agricultural commodity organizations
EXPORTERS ALERT
The SCTC maintains a depository of information for its members regarding potential problems with specific traders around the world; members may inquire if there have been any complaints filed against new customers prior to doing business with them.
